Grzegorz Onichimowski

Graduate of the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics of Warsaw Technical University and post graduate of Warsaw School of Economics i(Managing companies in the European Union).

President of the Management Board of Towarowa Giełda Energii S.A. (POLPX) since 2002. Under his direction the Polish Power Exchange operating the Day Ahead Market at the beginning of its existance with a 1% market share, has become one of the leading energy exchanges in Europe, with about 70% share of the domestic demand for electricity. Today POLPX operates the Certificates of Origin Register for electricity produced in the RES and CHP, the Property Rights Market and the Commodity Derivatives Market. In 2003 (as the first and so far the only), POLPX has obtained a licence to operate an energy exchange from the Polish Financial Supervision (PFS).

One of the initiators of the establishment of the Warsaw Commodity Clearing House, which as the first in this part of Europe has implemented standards for clearing transactions according to the CCP model.

He is a member of the Steering Committee of EUROPEX, taking an active role in the implementation of the EU's concept of a common European energy market.

Throughout his professional life, he was connected to the IT business. He has significant expertise in management, including strategic management, journalism and project management. Since 1989, he is directly connected to the IT business.

Member of the Management Board of Polskie Towarzystwo Certyfikacji Energii (Polish Association of Energy Certification) and co-author of the "green'" "red" and "white" certificates concept.

Jacek Goszczyński

Vice-President of the Management Board of POLPX since the end of July 2011.

Doctor of technical science. A graduate of the Faculty of mechanical engineering, energy and aviation  at the Warsaw University of Technology.

For many years he has been associated with the fuel and energy sector, including: Nafta Poland S.A., Industrial Development Agency S.A., Ciech S.A. in 2007-2008 Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Polish Power Exchange.

Has completed numerous courses and training in the field of project management, the use of new technologies, the functioning of the capital market, the powers of authorities and enterprise companies, trade law, the provisions of Community law on public aid.

Author of over 60 scientific and technical publications.

Adam Simonowicz

Vice-President of the Management Board

Vice-President of the Management Board of POLPX since the end of July 2011.

Graduate of Warsaw School of Economics (two faculties: Master in finance and banking, and Business Administration), and also graduate of the  Institute Francaise de Gestion (IFG, international diploma in management).

Since the beginning of his career he has been associated with the financial and energy-fuel sector,: Vice-president of the Board of Directors of the PKO BP Group  Investment SP. z o.o.: CFO of CP Energia S.A., Managing Director of Eurico SP. z o.o.

A specialist in the field of:

• structuring of investment projects
• build pricing models and business plans, financing and organizing
• construction and implementation of business strategy
• implementation and support of ERP-class systems (eg. SAP).
