On the day 30/03/2011 Sergio Aller Fernandez – the trader of Spanish Iberdrola Generación was entered on the Commodity Exchange Brokers List, kept by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, after accomplishing of co-called adaptation training on the Polish Power Exchange.
Sergio Aller Fernandez is the first person coming from the European Union member country, who has gained the title of the commodity exchanges broker taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the Act concerning rules of recognition of professional qualifications obtained in the European Union member countries.
The procedure for recognition of professional qualifications obtained in the European Union member countries through carrying out of so-called adaptation training has been regulated in the Act dated on the day of March the 18th 2008 and concerning rules of recognition of professional qualifications obtained in the European Union member countries and in the Decree of the Minister of Finance dated on the day of November the 4th 2008 and concerning the adaptation training and testing of competences being grounds for recognition of the qualifications for practicing of profession of a security dealer, a commodity exchange broker as well as an investment advisor.
On the grounds of the regulations mentioned above the Polish Financial Supervision Authority determines the training program for three-month period. After successful accomplishing of the training the Polish Financial Supervision Authority issues a certificate confirming accomplishing of the adaptation training and recognition of the professional qualifications, on the grounds of which the person coming from the European Union member country is entered on the list of the Commodity Exchange Brokers.
